A pastoral installation program in an African congregation is a big deal. It is a worship service that celebrates the union between a new pastor and his congregation. Conducting an installation is like officiating at a wedding service, where the relationship between the pastor and the congregation is made public. This is a program that allows the congregation to recognize the spiritual leadership of the new pastor as he begins to serve the community of faith and the larger community.
On January 17, 2015 the members of Faith Church International and Light of Christ Company gathered as a district to witness the installation of their new pastor, Pastor Enock Bigogo. Pastor Enock Osorio Bigogo is a graduate of Andrews University (2013) and University of Eastern Africa Baraton Eldoret in Kenya (2007).
Bigogo is a native of Kenya, he worked in Uganda as a school Chaplain before coming to the USA for his Masters in Divinity studies. He comes from a predominately Seventh-day Adventist community with many family members involved in church work. He enjoys reading, music, preaching, youth ministry and evangelism.
Pastor Enock Bigogo was installed as the pastor at Faith Church International. He will be the pastor for Faith Church International and Light of Christ Company. The Minnesota Conference strongly believes that Enock Osorio Bigogo is a good fit for the Faith district. We welcome him to the Minnesota Conference Team.
The installation service was conducted by the President of the Minnesota Conference, Elder Justin Lyons.
