Making Our World a Better Place

MWA cleaning HwyAn important lesson to teach our students is the importance of being a part of a community and taking responsibility for making our world a better place. So the summer of 2014, Maplewood Academy adopted a highway! Located 25 miles north of Hutchinson on Highway 15, our students are taking care of a beautiful 2 mile stretch in the country. In October 2014, on Maplewood’s Community Service Day, a group of students and staff cleaned the ditches, making the stretch look even better. Together our students are making an impact in our community and we are proud of them for their hard work.
